Next creative SEO thought of mine today... I would really welcome some feedback if you can.
So, I got thinking recently; now that google can run searches on emoji (such as" ?" = results yielding the nearest burger restaurants in my area) that maybe I should be adding emoji in my SEO snippets preview. The thinking behind this was to stand out from the crowd on a google search response page; as most of my local area just have a generic "here's my details" info (NO unique selling points whatsoever!)
However, after trying out Yoast SEO tool it's not high scoring my choice of words in the selected places very well... Am I a fool to ignore this or can I be a little more maverick? (or Goose or whoever else was your Top Gun favourite!)
(Here's my initial reasoning behind why I tried out this wacky approach to google listings)
I wanted my longtail focus word(s) in the SEO title, because in its most stripped back form, that' what my new intended business will be... and I believe will be entered into the 'search bar'.
Excuse the current domain name - that will be replaced out once I move over to a paid for domain (finishing off my training module as we speak)
Based on over a decade of Sales experience , I have always learnt to "Sell the Sizzle, not the Steak", therefore I wanted to tell my future customers exactly want I could promise them, NOT how I was going to give it to them... I did, however, feel obliged to add my locality and contact details to appeal the local target SME market in my region so not to be overlooked.
Welcome the debate/thoughts back
