Yes. I use both ServerPilot and Laravel Forge (https://forge.laravel.com/) on top of Digital Ocean VPS’s. Both are really good.
To get the most out of ServerPilot (multiple SSH/SFTP, automatic Let’s Encrypt SSL certs) you’ll want the paid plan which is a per-server cost.
Forge is a single price for as many servers as you like. Arguably Forge is aimed more at application developers using the Laravel Framework, but it hosts WordPress just fine too. The main disadvantage of Forge (currently) is that it only lets you have one user account that runs all the apps on a server, whereas ServerPilot’s paid plan lets you create a different user for each application, which reduces the potential fallout from a hacked application (as the hacker is likely to only be able to damage the app they hacked, not ALL apps on the server).
These services do take some of the pain out of running your own server, but I’d say that you still need to be good on a command line and have a good working knowledge of Linux server management to safely use them.
